Spring Water

naturally occuring surface water springs can be a source of water, however, contrary to popular belief, it's incredibly hard to find naturally occuring potable spring water. Due to potentially harmful bacteria, tannins (organic compounds), low ph, and turbidity, spring water should be treated prior to entering a home.

Treatment Options:

  • We highly recommend UV light treatment to address pathogens in the water.
  • We recommend installing a Neutralizer, as most spring water has low ph.
  • It is common for spring water to have sediment, turbidity, and tannins present, requiring filtration. There are different ways of treating these issues, including canister filters and ultrafiltration.
