NEUTRALIZERS

nEUTRALIZERS ARE USED TO ENSURE THE Ph OF WATER IS MAINTAINED ABOVE 7.0, TO PROTECT PLUMBING FROM CORROSION, AND TO PREVENT PREMATURE FAULURE OF IRON FILTERS.

Benefits of a Neutralizer:

∙ increases ph to an ideal range, between 7.0 and 8.0
∙ prevents corrosion of metal plumbing and fixtures
∙ prevents premature failure of iron media
∙ Our Neutralizers are installed with a dome hole for easier media replenishment
∙ our valves are Self cleaning and programmable

🛈 How it Works:

➤ untreated water enters the valve inlet while in service

➤ filter media "calcite" is dissolved into the water

➤ As a result, pH and hardness are increased

➤ Treated water flows up through the riser pipe

➤ treated water exits the valve outlet while in service

➤ Media can treat a set amount of water before regeneration cycle (self cleaning) is needed

➤ regeneration schedule is based on water usage and water composition

➤ dirty water is flushed out of the drain line during the regeneration cycle

➤ media consumption depends on water usage and water composition

➤ media level should be maintained above half of the tank

➤ routine maintenance cadence strongly recommended
