Neutralizer Swap

BARNARDSVILLE, NC --

Once upon a time, standard neutralizer tanks had no dome holes, as was the case with this customer's tank. Also, the mechanical valve had finally reached its end of life, having been in place since before we began working with this customer. We hauled out the old neutralizer and replaced it with a brand new valve and dome hole tank.

"What's the dome hole for," you ask? The neutralizer media (calcite - crushed up marble &/or limestone) dissolves into the water when in service. We recommend replenishing the consumed media annually, and adding new media is much easier with a dome hole tank. Otherwise, the entire valve and drain line must be removed.
