FLETCHER, NC --
Under a deck, through a small door, from a crawl to a slither, there lies a pressure tank. Near this tank, there is a hose bib, where a water sample can be collected. After testing this sample in our office, we discovered the water had a pH of 5.9 and 2 GPG of hardness. Our recommendation was a neutralizer to correct the pH and a water softener to correct the hardness. However, this crawl space was not a possibility.
This customer opted to purchase a small storage shed and run electrical to it. This option can be reasonably affordable and, in this case, it was the right choice. The installation went smooth and the space fit the filtration nicely. Accessibility is no longer an issue, and neither is the water quality. The customer is thrilled with their water and we were able to put a pretty bow on this project.
